SageDocs

SageDocs is a private vault for the documents you can't afford to lose track of: passports, ID cards, driver's licenses, insurance, warranties, vehicle papers, health records and tax files. It tells you before they expire, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Your files and document details are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY ARRIVE Set an expiry date and SageDocs reminds you 90, 30, 7 and 1 days before, or on the day itself. You choose the hour. Reminders are planned across your whole vault, soonest first, so the nearest expiries always get their reminders first. The dashboard's Needs Attention card shows what has expired and what is coming up in the next 7 and 30 days. Snooze 7 Days, Mark Renewed or Open straight from the notification. The Timeline section lists every document by when it expires: overdue, this week, this month and later. START IN SECONDS Pick a template (Passport, National ID, Driver's licence, Car insurance, Vehicle inspection, Health insurance, Home insurance, Pet vaccination, Warranty, Subscription or Visa) and the title, category and reminder schedule are filled in for you. Scan with the camera on iPhone and iPad, or drag files in on Mac and iPad. Text on a photo, scan or PDF can fill in the fields for you, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. KEEP IT TIDY Archive documents you want to keep but no longer track, like an old passport or a cancelled policy. They drop out of your counts and reminders and stay searchable. Pin the ones you open most and they appear first, in a Quick Access row. Fifteen built-in categories, plus your own. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Attachments and document details (titles, notes, issuers, reference numbers) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device before anything is saved or synced. Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID or your PIN. Sharing a file always asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your PIN first. SageDocs has no servers of its own, no accounts and no tracking, and it works offline. SYNC THAT STAYS YOURS Documents sync between your devices through your private iCloud account, and only there. Add a passport on your iPhone and it shows up on your Mac shortly after. Sync also works with iCloud Drive turned off. BUILT FOR APPLE DEVICES Small, medium and large Home Screen widgets and a Lock Screen widget, Siri shortcuts, a Share extension, Mac menu bar and keyboard shortcuts, an optional Liquid Glass look on iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and macOS 26 or later, and a layout that adapts to iPhone, iPad and Mac. Available in 12 languages. SUBSCRIPTION SageDocs Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. New users get 7 days of full access for free, and the monthly plan also includes a free 7-day introductory offer for eligible new subscribers; the yearly plan has none. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, with the introductory offer, when the free period ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, including the free introductory period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. When a trial or subscription ends, your documents stay yours: you can still open, edit, export and delete them, but adding new documents or files needs Premium. Your physical games, brought to life as an interactive 3D collection. Cibby recreates the boxes you remember, from cardboard big boxes to jewel cases, with the artwork, materials and little details that make each one special. Pick them up, turn them over and build a shelf that feels like yours. Start your shelf free with up to 10 games. When you’re ready to bring your full collection, Cibby Pro gives it room to grow. THE BOXES Every platform has its own shapes, materials and little details. Cibby tries to capture those differences, from cardboard boxes and jewel cases to modern plastic cases. The front, back and spine are rendered live, giving each game a proper place on your shelf. GETTING YOUR COLLECTION IN Scan a barcode, search for a game or import the collection you already keep in other collection apps or a spreadsheet. You can also photograph a shelf and let Cibby identify the spines privately on your device! If something is missing, scan the box to help add it to the catalog. YOUR COPY Games often came in different packaging depending on the region, edition or time of release. Cibby treats those differences as part of the collection. Choose the version you own and the box updates with the right artwork, shape, title and barcode. Because a German copy is a German copy, and a special edition should be called what it says on the box. YOUR SHELF Choose a shelf material and decide how tightly your games should be packed. Use Spines view for something closer to a real game cabinet, or give every box more room to show itself. Arrange games by hand, sort them automatically and choose what information appears on each box. Different parts of your collection can have their own setup, so PC big boxes can sit large on walnut while Switch cases stand together on glass. KEEP TRACK Record what you paid, completeness, condition, play status, ratings and notes for every copy. Cibby can also show estimated values and price history from PriceCharting. MORE TO FIND There is a Daily Quiz with the same questions for everyone, along with curated picks, platform spotlights and games released on this day. You can listen to game soundtracks while browsing, with full playback for Apple Music subscribers and previews for everyone else. There are also plenty of app icons to unlock, including a few Cibby will not tell you about. YOUR DATA IS YOURS Export your entire collection whenever you want. Your export includes spreadsheets, an offline webpage and your original scans at full resolution. CIBBY PRO Behind every shelf is a growing archive of physical games, with carefully recreated packaging, regional editions and artwork contributed by collectors. Cibby Pro helps fund that work and keeps your collection growing alongside it. Collect up to 10 games for free. For larger collections, choose Cibby Pro with a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. I built Cibby because I wanted a collection app that cared about the physical objects, not just the list of games. Verdict
SageDocs and Cibby are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. SageDocs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Cibby sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
