Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: RIRLift at none against Athlyst's shown. RIRLift also leads on ratings volume (18 vs 1). Athlyst's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 6 days). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. RIRLift sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Athlyst sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for RIRLift against 5.0 for Athlyst. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RIRLift has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
RIRLift ships an update every 6 days, Athlyst daily. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
