What's New in RIRLift

3.8

September 5, 2026

Type the session you want — "push day, 60 min", "leg day, dumbbells only" — and RIRLift builds it for you. Free, and on every device. New • Describe your workout — write a request in plain words and get a full session back: exercises, sets, reps, RIR and rest. It reads the movements, muscles, splits, equipment and times you name in every language the app speaks, and sends you to the routine picker rather than guessing when it can't tell. Open it with "AI generate workout" under Start empty workout, or add what it builds to a session already running • Set Replay — after a set you log on your Apple Watch, its rep timing appears on your iPhone during rest and in the recap: average rep, cadence, time under tension and how much the last rep slowed. Analyzed on your own devices and never uploaded; sets whose motion can't be read clearly are skipped • 58 new exercises — the library is now 548 movements, each with its own illustration bundled for offline use • Book your next session from the Dashboard — once you've gone two days with nothing on the calendar, a card offers to pick a time and remind you • A reminder before your free trial ends, so the last day is never a surprise Improved • Onboarding shows your plan being built — goal, split, volume and exercises tick through before the reveal, instead of the plan landing in the same frame as your last tap • Heart-rate monitors found by a scan now appear directly under the Scan button, instead of below an unrelated setting • On iPad, RIRLift stops offering Apple Watch hand-offs an iPad can never do, and calls the device in your hands by its right name Fixed • Starting a workout while a long history was still loading could overwrite it — the app now waits for your data before it will save anything • The recovery card no longer reads "No recent training" after a week or two off, when the honest answer is that every muscle is ready to train

Good replacement for Built

The fact there’s a Lifetime Pro option makes this app 100% better. It’s kinda like Built without the feed and option to take pictures of you to track your progress, but that’s fine by me, you don’t have to do too much if you got all you need. Besides I can see this app becoming better as time goes on. I just hope I don’t lose my Lifetime Pro when they have to change it to monthly and annual 😭

Response from developer

Thanks! This made our day. To put your mind at ease: Lifetime Pro is permanent. It's a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID, so it stays yours and restores on any device you sign into, whatever the plan lineup looks like later. And the thing you're worried about has already happened: monthly and yearly went live a few days ago, and Lifetime is still right there alongside them. We added them so people can try Pro properly before committing to anything, not to replace the one-time option. Nothing about your unlock changed. Progress photos noted, thank you. Plenty more features coming!

Great Tracker
