Your Health Data. Your AI. Your API. Ask ChatGPT, Claude or other AI apps about your own Apple Health data: how you slept this week, whether your resting heart rate is trending down, how this month's training compares to last. The AI app reads your real numbers to answer. Add HealthAPI as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, then approve the connection right here on your iPhone: scan the QR code, tap the link, or type the 6-character code. There's no key to copy, the AI app gets read-only access, and you can disconnect it anytime in Settings > Connected apps. Claude works on every plan, including Free. ChatGPT connection requires a compatible ChatGPT plan and supported connector access. Setup and availability vary by plan. Building something yourself? The same data is available from a private REST API with your personal key, ready for scripts, automations, spreadsheets and dashboards. WHAT YOU GET • A private sync of the Apple Health data you choose: activity and energy, heart and vitals, sleep, workouts, body measurements, mobility, nutrition and more. • A connector for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps that support MCP connectors, approved on your iPhone. • Daily and weekly summaries, ready to read: steps, active energy, resting heart rate, sleep hours and workout totals. • Trends for a single metric over up to a year, and raw samples when you need every reading. • An in-app dashboard with charts, so your data is useful before you connect anything. • Your own API key for scripts and developer tools, with a Share button that sends your setup to whichever AI agent you use. BUILT AROUND YOUR CONTROL • You choose which categories sync, and Apple Health asks your permission first. • HealthAPI reads Apple Health. It never writes to it. • Only the AI apps you approve on your iPhone, and the tools you give your API key, can read your synced data. The app never sends it to anyone else on its own. • Disconnect AI apps individually in Settings > Connected apps. Regenerate your API key to revoke access for tools using that key. • Export your data or delete your account from Settings. A deleted account can be restored for 30 days, then its health data is permanently erased. • We never sell your health data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. FOR DEVELOPERS Clean JSON over HTTPS with one bearer key. No SDK required. curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" \ "https://healthapi.app/api/v1/health/daily-summary?date=2026-10-12" Full documentation: https://healthapi.app/docs SUBSCRIPTION HealthAPI is a paid service: sync, storage, the connector and your API all run on servers we operate. • Pro: $4.99/month or $49.99/year, 100 requests per day • Developer: $9.99/month or $99.99/year, 1,000 requests per day Each read by an AI app or by your own code counts as a request, and one question can take a few. Syncing from your iPhone never counts. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Track nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, and screen time in one app. Notch shows your habits as a Robinhood-style chart — set a baseline, pick a goal, and watch the line bend down. No streaks that punish you for a slip. No forced language of addiction. Just data. Pick one habit for free or track all four in Notch+. Log every entry in one tap or by voice with Siri. See how far below your starting point you've dropped, in real time. WHAT YOU CAN TRACK • Nicotine — pouches by mg • Alcohol — standard drinks per day and per week • Caffeine — coffee, espresso, energy drinks, tea, soda • Screen time — auto-tracked from iOS, no manual entry needed WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • Robinhood-style chart, color-coded to your goal line • Rank ladder from Hooked to Clean — where do you sit today? • Portfolio view — all your habits on one normalized chart • Backfill past logs on a calendar when you forget • Friends leaderboard — 6-character code, no login required • Voice logging: "Hey Siri, log a beer in Notch" • Home screen widget — one tap to log NOTCH+ (OPTIONAL) Free forever if you track one habit. Notch+ unlocks: • All four habits simultaneously • Portfolio cross-view • 7-day free trial, then $4.99/month or $29.99/year WHY THE CHART, NOT THE STREAK Streaks are brittle. One bad day and the counter resets — like the last three months meant nothing. Notch shows the trend line instead. A week where you had two drinks is still a week where the line went down. Progress isn't binary. PRIVACY Everything lives on your device. iCloud sync is optional. Friends see only what you choose to share. No ads. Ever.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notch at none against HealthAPI's 4. HealthAPI's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
