ThermVoltGe
Read full descriptionHide full description
ThermVoltGe is a character-focused germanium distortion processor for iPhone and iPad. Use it as a standalone audio app or insert the included AUv3 effect in a compatible host such as GarageBand. Its nonlinear core is built around an OA91-style germanium-diode architecture. A low forward-voltage threshold, asymmetric conduction, temperature dependency, battery sag, and supply-voltage interaction create early compression and a soft, rounded clipping response. FEATURES - OA91-style germanium diode clipping - Temperature-dependent nonlinear response - Battery sag and supply-voltage control - Instrument and line input modes - Boost stage - Adjustable gain, high-pass filter, tone, drive, and output - 2x and 4x oversampling modes - Standalone iOS/iPadOS app - AUv3 audio effect for compatible hosts TRY BEFORE UNLOCKING The app provides 10 minutes of full-featured active use. Demo time advances only while the standalone app or AUv3 effect is actively being used. After the allowance is used, audio processing is disabled for 24 hours. A one-time, non-consumable In-App Purchase unlocks unlimited use in both the standalone app and AUv3 extension. Restore Purchases is available in the standalone app. Customers whose verified original app version is 1.0.2 or earlier retain full access automatically without an additional purchase. ThermVoltGe is designed for guitar, bass, synthesizers, keyboards, and other sources that benefit from compressed, harmonically rich germanium drive.
Negative Harmony
Read full descriptionHide full description
Negative Harmony lets you explore one of music theory's most fascinating transformations: reflecting any chord or progression across a tonal axis to produce its harmonic mirror image. TAP ANY CHORD Select a root and quality on the interactive Circle of Fifths. See the original chord and its negative simultaneously, with voice-leading automatically applied. BUILD PROGRESSIONS Add chords to a progression and play them back โ originals or negatives โ with smooth voice leading between every chord. Common tones are held, not re-attacked. UNDERSTAND THE THEORY Built-in theory section explains the concept from first principles: the axis, the transformation formula, voice leading, and the history from Hugo Riemann to Jacob Collier. 5 SOUNDS Choose from Rhodes, Strings, Choir, Organ, or Synth Pad โ the same high-quality soundfont used by professional music apps. MULTILINGUAL Full support for English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.
