Link three or more matching tiles on a six by six board, cut enemies down with the sword, hold the line with shields and potions, and try to reach turn fifty alive. SIMPLE, THEN DEEP - Sword chains cut straight through enemies. A red cross marks anything you can kill this turn - Shields give armour, potions restore health, coins give score and gold - Clear ten coins at once for a coin pouch bonus BUILD YOUR OWN RUN - Level up to earn spells on cooldown: judgement lightning, barrier, freeze, gold rush and more - Collect relics from chests and shops and stack the effects - Fill the shield gauge to pick a permanent stat boost BOSSES IN THE WAY - A boss appears every ten turns. Four types stand between you and the end: normal, thorned (reflects), poison and life-draining GAME CENTER - Take your high score to the worldwide leaderboard Short enough for a gap in the day, deep enough to chew on. One decision changes the whole run.

About

NEON BREAK

Features

Fire in both directions from the center of the screen. Melt the closing blocks with an ever-growing rain of balls. Break a gold block and the NEON sign starts lighting up, one letter at a time. How long you keep it lit is your score against the world. ■ Closing in from both sides Blocks push in one row at a time, from above and from below. Which threat do you cut down first? That call, every turn, is the difference between surviving and not. This is the heart of the game. ■ The more you fire, the more you get Spend the coins you earn on more balls, more power, a faster stream. Four balls at the start; before long they fill the screen. Infinite bounces, curveballs, side warp: the further you go, the more the board itself changes how you play. ■ Lit, or not Break a gold block and the board slows to a crawl while the NEON sign lights up letter by letter. N, E: does it stop there, or does it finish and drop you in? When it lights, balls pour in, WAVEs speed up, and the screen melts. ■ EXTEND NEON doesn’t just run out of time. At 0.0 the sign draws once more, and if EXTEND lights, you keep going. Break gold blocks during NEON to bank STOCK, and you get another draw at the buzzer. Every time it holds, another “!” snaps onto the sign and your balls and power go up. NEON! to NEON!!! ■ Pull them in During NEON, hold the board and nearby balls curve toward your finger. Gather the scattered rain into one spot and drive it into the gold blocks. The more you do, the longer NEON lasts. Make the pull stronger in the Shop. ■ Race the world for the longest NEON How long NEON lasts is your record. The Game Center leaderboard lines up the top players and your own runs on a single scale. During NEON your time stays in the corner, and the moment you pass yesterday’s best, your personal best, or someone on the world board, you’ll know. ■ Coins while you’re away Coins keep piling up while the app is closed, up to 8 hours’ worth. Collect the pile the next time you open it. ■ It doesn’t end There is no game over. WAVEs keep advancing, blocks keep getting tougher, and your upgrades keep growing. One hand, portrait, one turn whenever you like. ■ This is for you if - You like the feel of breaking things without thinking - You like watching numbers grow exponentially - You like beating your own record a little at a time - You want a game you can put down at any moment
