Tail Cam
Read full descriptionHide full description
Tail Cam is a real-time camera effect that turns movement into flowing visual trails. The image is delayed row by row down the screen โ the top updates instantly, while each line below shows a slightly older moment. The result is a smooth, continuous "tail" that follows anything in motion: a wave of the hand, a passing object, a turn of the head. Everything is processed live on your device, so you see the effect instantly in the viewfinder. FEATURES โข Real-time time-displacement effect, rendered live on the camera feed โข Smooth, continuous trails with no harsh stepping โข Capture photos with the effect applied โข Record video with the effect applied โข Front and rear camera support โข Clean, distraction-free interface HOW IT WORKS Point the camera at anything that moves and watch it stretch into a trail. Move slowly for gentle waves, or quickly for long, dramatic streaks. Tap to take a photo, or start recording to save a video โ straight to your photo library. All capture and processing happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is shared.
Glitchforge
Read full descriptionHide full description
Glitchforge is a video glitch studio that runs on your iPhone. Load a clip, stack effects, and watch your videos get messed up. Most glitch apps just paint effects on top of the picture. We edit the compressed video itself, in its own domain: the motion vectors, coefficients, and quantizers inside the H.264, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 streams. Datamosh: motion comes unstuck from the picture, so one shot melts into the next and frames bleed together. Scrambled coefficients: blocks tear and smear. Warped blocks + posterization: the compression math is the effect. VHS + analog: tracking noise, color bleed, worn tape Pixel sort: pixels dragged into long streaks of color. Load a clip. Build a chain and reorder it if you need to. Tune each effect's settings and watch the picture change in unexpected ways. Scrub to any frame and save it, or export the whole clip. There is no account and no server. Your footage is processed on the phone and stays there. It works with no connection, anywhere you are ready to make art.
