Most calorie trackers hold you to a strict daily limit. Cal/d tracks your daily average instead, so one heavy day doesn't wreck your progress. Set a start date and daily limit, and Cal/d reads dietary energy from Apple Health to show: - Daily Average: total calories since your start date, divided by days elapsed. - Remaining Calories: stay under your limit and you build a surplus to spend whenever you want. - Surplus Goal: surplus divided by daily limit is how many days you've saved. Set a target (say, 3 days). - Countdown to Next 250: a timer until your next 250 calories, expandable to 5 timers ahead (20 with Plus). Don't want to wait? Factor in Active Energy too. A jog raises your surplus and moves you closer to your goal. Log calories and nutrition directly in Cal/d, or keep your current tracker and open it with one tap from a built-in link list. Anything that writes to Apple Health, Cal/d can read. On Apple Watch, turn the Digital Crown through your budget, pace, average, goal, and countdowns, and add complications to your watch face. PLUS FEATURES: - Unlimited What-If calorie planning - Unlimited surplus-goal days - All 20 countdown milestones - Custom Stats date ranges longer than 30 days - "Last…" Stats periods beyond the last 7 days - After-exercise pace comparison - Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island - Calorie checkpoint notifications Cal/d is not medical advice. Consult your doctor before changing your diet.

Track cigarettes, vape puffs, and other nicotine products, understand your habits, and gradually increase the time between uses. Whether you want to cut down, quit now, or continue from an earlier quit date, this smoking tracker helps you follow your progress at your own pace. CHOOSE YOUR GOAL • Track and gradually reduce your nicotine use. • Quit now and start a nicotine-free timer. • Enter a previous quit date and continue tracking your progress. • Change your approach without losing your history. LOG WHAT YOU USE • Record cigarettes and heated tobacco products with one tap. • Count individual vape puffs or log a complete vaping session. • Track nicotine pouches, snus, and nicotine gum. • Add nicotine strength, quantity, and price details. • Edit past entries if you forget to log in the moment. EXTEND THE TIME BETWEEN USES See how long it has been since your last use and compare your current pause with your target. Based on your activity, the app creates a gradual reduction plan focused on longer, repeatable intervals. Follow the plan at your own pace and see how your pauses change over time. UNDERSTAND YOUR PATTERNS Review your nicotine use by day or week and explore: • Daily consumption and interval trends. • Estimated nicotine intake and peak times. • Time-of-day patterns. • Vape puffs per session. • Estimated spending and savings. • Estimated tar totals based on logged cigarettes. • Progress across different nicotine products. TRACK NICOTINE-FREE PROGRESS Start a nicotine-free period without losing the progress that came before it. Follow your elapsed time, estimated money saved, estimated uses avoided, and general recovery milestones. If you return to nicotine, the previous attempt remains available in your history. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your nicotine log stays on your device. No account is required to begin tracking. Verdict
CalSlashD and Smoking Tracker are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. CalSlashD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Smoking Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
