DriveSchoolPro vs Lesson Diary

DriveSchoolPro is the complete management app for UK driving instructors and driving schools. Whether you're a solo ADI or run a multi-instructor school, it replaces the paper diary, the spreadsheet and the late-night text messages with one simple app. TODAY AT A GLANCE Start every day with your lessons, pickups and reminders in one view — and carry on where you left off even when you're offline between lessons. EFFORTLESS SCHEDULING Book, move and cancel lessons in a calendar built for driving tuition, with automatic conflict detection so you never double-book a car or an instructor. PUPILS AND PROGRESS Keep every pupil's details, lesson history and DVSA syllabus progress together. Record lesson outcomes in seconds and see who's test-ready. PAYMENTS WITHOUT THE PAPERWORK Record cash and bank payments, sell lesson packages, raise invoices and see exactly who owes what — all in pounds, formatted the way UK schools work. MESSAGES THAT REACH YOU Pupils message you from their own portal; you get a push notification the moment it arrives and can reply in-app. WhatsApp and email escalation keep pupils in the loop without sharing your personal number. BUILT FOR THE UK 24-hour times, DD/MM/YYYY dates, GBP throughout, and DVSA-aligned progress tracking. DriveSchoolPro is for driving schools and instructors with a DriveSchoolPro account. Sign in with your existing school account to get started.

Less admin. More teaching time. You're the instructor, the scheduler, and the accountant. Lesson Diary is the driving instructor app that handles your diary, pupil bookings, and payment tracking, so a cancelled lesson doesn't mean a lost afternoon. DIARY, YOUR WAY See your day, week, or month at a glance. Book, move, or cancel lessons in seconds, with instant conflict warnings so you never double-book a slot. BOOKINGS THAT COME TO YOU Pupils request lessons through your own online booking page. You approve, defer, or decline from your phone. No more chasing texts to confirm a time. LESSON PACKAGES, YOUR WAY Set up Regular, Intensive, Pass Plus, Motorway, or Refresher lessons with your own durations and prices. Every booking picks up the right package automatically, so quoting a price is never a guessing game. TRACK EVERY PUPIL Keep a record of tests, licence details, transmission type, progress notes, and full lesson history per pupil, so you always know where they're at before you get in the car. PROGRESS NOTES THAT STICK Log what you covered and how it went straight after the lesson, skill by skill, pupil by pupil, so nothing gets forgotten between sessions and pupils can see how far they've come. KNOW WHO'S PAID See outstanding balances at a glance, mark individual lessons as paid, or clear a whole backlog in one tap with mark-all-as-paid. No more guessing who still owes you for last week. REMINDERS, HANDLED Automatic lesson reminders keep pupils showing up on time, so you spend less time chasing and more time teaching. YOUR COVERAGE, YOUR PATCH Set the areas you teach in so your online booking page only ever brings you pupils you can actually reach. STAYS IN SYNC Everything you do on your phone syncs instantly with your Lesson Diary web account, so your diary is always up to date wherever you check it, on your phone, tablet, or desktop. BUILT FOR ONE PERSON: YOU No bloated fleet-management features you'll never touch. Lesson Diary is built specifically for the working instructor running their own diary, their own pupils, and their own business. Built for driving instructors who'd rather be teaching than doing paperwork. New here?
