It does not amplify, process, or alter sound for your hearing, and it is not a hearing aid or a medical device. Auracast is a trademark of Bluetooth SIG. HearAura is an independent app, not affiliated with Bluetooth SIG or Apple.

This app is the dedicated control software for the Aura C Auracast Receiver Dongle. Its primary purpose is to bridge Auracast broadcasts to headphones or hearing aids that do not natively support Auracast. Once connected via USB-C, the app enables you to discover and synchronize with nearby Auracast broadcast sources, and route wireless audio to your connected audio devices.
