Won’t find hearing aids

Love the idea of this but it won’t find my hearing aids

Response from developer

Thank you for trying HearAura, and I'm sorry it didn't find your hearing aids. Which brand and model do you have? That decides the next step. Most Made for iPhone hearing aids (ReSound, Oticon, Starkey, Signia, Widex and others) need to be paired first under Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices, not in the regular Bluetooth list. Phonak, Unitron and some others pair under Settings > Bluetooth instead. Once they're paired, open HearAura and tap "Find hearing aids nearby" again. Not every hearing aid supports Auracast yet. If yours doesn't, we'd rather tell you plainly than leave you guessing. Email support@hearaura.app with the brand and model and we'll help you directly.
