DriftPad

Your controller feels off. DriftPad tells you whether it really is broken ā and gives you a dated report that proves it. Most controller testers just light up a button when you press it. DriftPad answers the question you actually opened the app for: is this controller healthy, and can I prove it ā to a buyer, a seller, or a warranty desk? WHAT YOU GET ⢠A clear verdict ā Healthy, Needs attention, or Failing ā instead of a wall of raw numbers ⢠Stick drift measured beyond the dead zone that iOS applies before any app can see your stick ⢠A dated evidence report, as a PDF or an image, that you can send to a buyer, a marketplace, or a support ticket ⢠A test built from what YOUR controller reports ā so even models released after this app work, with no update WHY THE REPORT MATTERS Selling a controller? Attach proof it works. Buying used? Ask the seller for it. Sent one back for repair? Compare before and after. Marketplaces ask for evidence of condition ā but stick drift is behavior over time, and a photo can't capture it. DriftPad produces the document instead. WHAT IT TESTS ⢠Buttons, D-Pad, thumbsticks, triggers, bumpers and system buttons ā live, with a coverage counter so every input is proven, not just the first one you press ⢠Stick drift beyond the system dead zone, with a plain-language verdict ⢠Stick health: return-to-center (snapback), range, circularity and axis resolution ⢠Trigger travel and trigger dead zone ⢠Button mash, turbo and chatter detection ⢠Vibration, haptics, adaptive triggers, LED light bar, motion sensors, battery and touchpad ā where iOS exposes them, with DriftPad telling you exactly which your controller supports and which it doesn't ⢠History and trends ā compare any run against a saved baseline ⢠An aim trainer for reaction and accuracy WORKS WITH ANY CONTROLLER iOS RECOGNIZES DriftPad builds each test from the inputs your controller reports at runtime ā not from a hand-drawn picture of one model. So it keeps working with controllers released after this app shipped, no update required. Xbox Wireless (Series X|S, One) Ā· DualSense Ā· DualSense Edge Ā· DualShock 4 Ā· MFi controllers Ā· arcade sticks, and more. HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS iOS applies its own dead zone to every stick before the values reach any app. Drift smaller than that floor is invisible to every app on the platform ā including this one. So rather than pretend otherwise, DriftPad shows you where the floor sits and measures the drift that crosses it. It also tells you which features your specific controller exposes under iOS, so you never blame the app for a limit that belongs to the platform. DRIFTPAD PREMIUM The core tester is free. Premium adds the parts that prove it and go deeper: ⢠Exportable evidence reports (PDF and image) ⢠Advanced stick tests ā snapback, range, circularity, axis resolution, trigger travel, event rate ⢠Full history, trends and baseline comparison ⢠Side-by-side comparison of two controllers Premium is a monthly or yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact prices for your region are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. No account required. Gamepad is a focused controller testing and diagnostics utility for iPhone and iPad. Connect a compatible Bluetooth, wired, or MFi controller recognized by iOS or iPadOS to inspect its input in real time and quickly diagnose buttons, sticks, triggers, and supported extended capabilities. Key Features ⢠Controller Visualization See buttons, the directional pad, analog sticks, and triggers respond in real time. Both portrait and landscape layouts are supported, including basic controllers without analog sticks. ⢠Complete Controller Test Inspect stick trails, directional input, trigger pressure, button states, and controller capabilities in one place. ⢠Button Test Record button, direction, and axis input as it happens to verify every action. ⢠Stick Polling Rate Analyze stick input events, including average rate, event intervals, stability, and unusual samples. ⢠Haptic Feedback Try multiple vibration patterns and select a supported controller motor or the device haptics as the output. ⢠Audio Haptics Generate haptic feedback from a local audio file. Drag the waveform to choose a starting point, adjust intensity, and apply different levels of vocal filtering. ⢠Motion Sensors View live gyroscope and accelerometer data from a compatible controller or the current device. ⢠Extended Controller Capabilities Test touchpad input, adaptive triggers, motion sensors, and advanced haptics when the connected hardware supports them. Compatibility Available features depend on the controller model, connection method, Apple device, and capabilities exposed by the operating system. Some basic controllers do not include analog sticks, haptics, or motion sensors, and some iPad models do not provide device haptics. The app keeps the relevant layout visible and disables unsupported actions when appropriate. Privacy Controller tests and audio analysis are performed locally on the device. No account is required, and selected audio or controller input is not uploaded to a server.
