■ It looks like a terminal. That's the point. Black screen. Neon green text. System logs scrolling forever. CPU load and memory pressure climbing. To anyone glancing over your shoulder on the train, you are debugging a complex production system. What you are actually doing is connecting three or more matching symbols. ■ How it plays You are an incident response engineer covering 16 data centers around the world. - Pick a degraded node on the world map - Travel there (the farther it is, the longer it takes) - Patch the bugs on site (that's the puzzle) - Earn experience and move to the next incident (credits arrive on promotion) Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Frankfurt, Sao Paulo, Cape Town and more. Travel time is derived from real geographic distance, so crossing the planet actually costs you time. ■ Three numbers are trying to kill you While you work, three resources keep rising: - CPU — above 72% sectors of the board freeze and become unusable - MEM — clearing five or more at once brings it down hard. Small clears barely dent it - TRACE — accelerates the higher CPU and MEM get. This is your real timer If any of them hits 100%, the session is lost. Clearing three at a time will never outrun the load. You have to build bigger COMBOs, and land them fast enough to hold the CHAIN multiplier. ■ Fatigue, and the engineer ladder Deploying and traveling makes you tired. Fatigue only recovers in real time, and going in exhausted means starting from a worse baseline. Knowing when to rest is part of the game. Patching bugs earns experience and promotions: INTERN, ENGINEER, SENIOR, STAFF, PRINCIPAL, DISTINGUISHED, FELLOW — and beyond. The final rank is SINGULARITY at level 85. Restore all 16 nodes and the world is reinfected at a higher severity. It does not end. ■ Compete monthly Register a handle and you appear on the global leaderboard — by experience earned, by best COMBO, and by incidents contained. It resets every month, so a late start is never a lost cause. Registration is optional. ■ Escalations Eight times a day, one site escalates. Containment takes three passes and the site relocates after each one. Each escalation has its own rule for what counts as progress, and the briefing tells you before you commit. ■ Languages The interface is English — it has to read as a terminal. The manual and the daily orders are also available in Japanese. It follows your device language, and you can switch it from the profile screen. ■ Made for - Short sessions with real pressure - Not wanting to look like you are playing a game in public - People who like black terminals ■ Ads and purchases Free to play all the way through. Ads are mostly opt-in — watch one to skip travel time or recover fatigue, only when you choose to. A one-time PRO license removes ads permanently.

Start small. Think big. Build a city that feels like yours. Digicity is an isometric city builder for iPhone, iPad and Mac with Apple silicon. Turn a randomly generated 128x128 landscape into connected neighbourhoods, busy industry and a city shaped by your decisions. NEIGHBOURHOODS WITH CHARACTER Zone homes, shops and industry, then watch 22 building types develop through three visible stages. Streets, services, land value and nearby development shape what grows. Larger buildings can bring four lots together into one site. MAKE EVERY CONNECTION COUNT Lay roads, tram lines, freight rail, power lines and water pipes. Connect homes to jobs, provide essential services, and balance tax income against upkeep. Your choices affect traffic, pollution and demand. GET TO KNOW YOUR CITY Use data overlays and tile inspection to understand what helps your city grow—or holds it back. The city overview brings population, finances, utilities and transport together, with shortcuts to relevant map layers and controls. TAKE ON A NEW CHALLENGE Optional Scenario mode follows four historical eras: Rail, Motor, Service and Logistics. Start fresh or take charge of nine established challenge cities: Industrial River Town, Aging Tram City, Utility Squeeze, Budget Rescue, Safe Streets, Quiet Neighborhoods, Transit Turnaround, Boomtown and The Compact City. Choose transport priorities and emergency-service funding, review their costs, and compare city figures after policies take effect. Pursue seven optional ambitions and pin a goal while you play. Scenario access depends on the eras you own. Everyone can preview all nine challenge cities; starting one requires Ultimate. BUILD AT YOUR OWN PACE Pause to plan or choose Normal, Fast or Fastest. Open Build is a complete, free sandbox with every building tool and the whole map. No ads, energy meters or play timers. SAVE AND RECOVER YOUR CITY Saving your cities requires a one-time purchase. Without it, your city is lost if the app closes or the system terminates it. Saving and Ultimate include autosaves on this device, enabled by default. Keep up to three recent recovery versions per city history and restore an earlier checkpoint from the city menu. Named saves remain available separately. Force quitting can lose changes made after the last successful autosave. Scenario eras are sold separately. Ultimate includes saving, all Scenario eras and all nine challenge cities. Purchases are not subscriptions and do not expire. PLAY IN YOUR LANGUAGE Available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. Digicity follows your supported device language, with English as the fallback. You can choose another supported app language in Settings. We use AI to translate from English into other languages. Translations may contain mistakes; English is the original source. Share suggested improvements through Translation feedback in the city menu. Play in landscape on iPhone, build on iPad, or use a Mac with Apple silicon. No account or sign-in is required. https://digicitybuilder.app/privacy

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Digicity at 4.7 against DEBUGGER's 2.0. Digicity also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). DEBUGGER's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DEBUGGER sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Digicity sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Digicity holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digicity has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
DEBUGGER ships an update every 2 days, Digicity every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
