Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GLog at 4.8 against BlueStar Diabetes's 4.2. GLog also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 58%) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 127). BlueStar Diabetes's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 33 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
