Both are free to download. TestCard ProHD 4k sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NetSpot WiFi Analyzer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
NetSpot WiFi Analyzer holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NetSpot WiFi Analyzer has 354 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of TestCard ProHD 4k's written reviews are positive against 15% of NetSpot WiFi Analyzer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TestCard ProHD 4k ships an update every 6 months, NetSpot WiFi Analyzer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
