Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alora SN Note at 100% against GoMobile's 68%. Alora SN Note also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). GoMobile's advantage is ratings volume (60 vs 1) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
GoMobile holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoMobile has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Alora SN Note's written reviews are positive against 68% of GoMobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Alora SN Note ships an update every 4 months, GoMobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
