The clearest difference is ratings volume: CHOPT at 43K against Rice Fields's 1. CHOPT also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for CHOPT against 5.0 for Rice Fields. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CHOPT has 43K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
CHOPT ships an update every 2 weeks, Rice Fields every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
