Quillday is not a Quillday.com membership. There is no Quillday account and no public feed. Your pages, photos, and optional audio live on this iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch — with an encrypted copy in your own iCloud that Land Tech cannot open. What makes Quillday different • Time Capsule letters you seal until a date you choose (the notice never quotes the letter) • A real Apple Watch companion: speak or type a short page, mood check-in, optional Health snapshot after you save — pages land in the free journal on iPhone • Encrypted backup in your iCloud Documents, sealed with a key only your Apple ID holds • Quillday Plus can merge iPhone and Mac through your CloudKit vault — if both devices edited the same page offline, Quillday keeps both versions as a Conflicted copy instead of overwriting • Ask your journal and Companion stay on this device by default; an optional key you paste only sends excerpts after you confirm Send • Import history from other journal apps, then keep writing here Write today • Pages with headings, lists, and emphasis, plus a title, date, and time • Photos from the camera or library, including photos from this day after you tap that action • Tags, favorites, pins, search, and a calendar • Optional place and weather when you add them • Passcode and Face ID or Touch ID lock • Daily writing reminder if you turn it on • Export as text (.txt or .md), PDF, JSON, or CSV • Passphrase-encrypted .qday archive you can share or restore • Merge two journals into one, or move a page to another journal Free on this device One journal with photos, tags, search, calendar, lock, local export, a daily prompt, a writing streak, and On This Day (including an optional morning notice). The app opens into writing — there is no paywall on launch. Watch can always save a quick page into that free journal. Quillday Plus (optional yearly subscription) • Unlimited journals • Audio and video attachments • Templates and the full prompt library • Encrypted cloud sync and merge across your Apple devices • Writing insights and year in review • Mood charts from your local check-ins • Private companion and Ask with a key you paste (on device by default) • Life stories and Time Capsule letters • Print a book from a journal • Extra widgets and Watch complications beyond the free write-today tile Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscription settings. Restore Purchases is on the Plus screen and in Settings. Legal Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://landtechwebdesigns.com/quillday-privacy-policy/ Quillday Terms: https://landtechwebdesigns.com/quillday-terms/ Privacy Journal text, photos, audio, mood check-ins, and precise location stay on this device unless you export them. Quillday also keeps one encrypted copy in your own iCloud so a reinstall brings your pages back — sealed with a key only your Apple ID holds, which we never receive. Weather uses Open-Meteo only after you add a place. An optional model key you paste may send a short pack of recent notes, or Ask matching excerpts, to the AI provider you choose — only after you confirm Send in the app. Land Tech does not host your diary and cannot recover a lost passphrase. A native Mac client is a separate Mac App Store binary and is not this iPhone download.
