Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chatbooks at 64% against Metaframe's 0%. Chatbooks also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.4) and ratings volume (250K vs 16). Metaframe's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
