Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter at Free against Ringtone Studio Pro's $5.99. Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (20K vs 28). Ringtone Studio Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 51%). On in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter is free to download; Ringtone Studio Pro costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter has 20K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Ringtone Studio Pro's written reviews are positive against 51% of Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Ringtone Studio Pro ships an update every 12 months, Ringtone Maker & MP3 Converter every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
