AssetX For Snipe holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextcloud Notes has 95 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Nextcloud Notes's written reviews are positive against 25% of AssetX For Snipe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Nextcloud Notes ships an update every 2 months, AssetX For Snipe every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
