Broken Sync
I’m never able to actually use this with Notes in my Nextcloud instance, which is really frustrating.

Tired of the app randomly emptying my notes
I've been having this problem off and on now for a few months - I'll try to pull up a note, it'll appear to be empty, then I close it. I then have to log in via a browser, go to the files section and find the note, and revert its version to the one before that had data. An error is logged in Nextcloud, too, saying that an empty file was being saved - but I have no idea when it's going to happen or how to prevent it. My only recourse is to dump the app (on iOS and Android, had the problem with both platforms) and just use the web interface. This app should be fixed or trashed.

Needs features and UI tweaking
I think it’s functional but not amazing.
Will delete note content
Note content will be deleted randomly. I’ve noticed it particularly when you rename a note. It’s a shame because this could be a promising app for syncing your Nextcloud notes.
Won’t synchronize with the server
It won’t synchronize at all but only gives errors.

The last two versions cant connect the server, this app has been going down the hill for o a whole

Too basic basic considered basic
This has to be the worst app on Nextcloud. Wish I could integrate notes with Nextcloud instead.
Syncing failures and UI elements disappear
I’ve been using this app for a few years and it consistently had syncing problems, but has recently taken steps backwards on the UI as well. First the syncing because it is the most serious: Unless you have a good connection to the server during the entire edit, you will likely lose whole portions of your note because it never made it to the server. And, since it didn’t make it to the server, the data will be lost forever (the app loses it entirely). Unfortunately, you won’t know that the data has been lost until you check it again later only to find large chunks are missing (or the entire note if it was a new note). IMHO the entire syncing/queueing portion of the app should be rewritten, and/or a proper MQ framework added— data loss is unacceptable.
UI problems: recent versions of the app frequently lose the navigation controls after editing a note. Then there doesn’t seem to be any way to recover except for force-closing the app. I have to do this on a regular basis when editing saving any note.
Since I have lost whole portions of note edits multiple times now, and lost entire notes when they were new, I cannot trust this app anymore for anything other than reading existing notes on the server.

4.0 won’t log in
Really disappointing as Nextcloud is a great app but this is just ridiculous that they can’t get login to work correctly.
Wanted improvements
I’d like to see the browser note page features added to the app. Easy bolding underlining ect for example the iOS notes app has a lot of nice features would be cool to have them on nextcloud. file uploading would be great too but for now it serves its purpose. And I find it hard to be angry with nextcloud

Worked til the latest update
Fails to sync correctly. Doesn’t load notes already in server, overwrites files in server on load without out checking which is newer or of changes have been made. Infuriating experience. Barely useful anymore.
Good; useful
Works fine for me, syncing is certainly more reliable now than previous versions months ago. Enjoying new markdown view mode.
V4.4.0 broke a great app
Dont upgrade. You will regret it.

Feature removed?
Why was live sync on shared notes removed? My wife and I specifically used this app for shared collaborative notes, now that isn’t working anymore. It used to be that we could see each other typing in the note in real time. Very disappointing.
Just use the full Nextcloud app
This app is YEARS old and basically does nothing. It is incredibly basic. Don’t waste your time. Just use the full Nextcloud app.
Version 4.4.0 broken completely.
Error getting settings. Response status code was unacceptable: 404. Previous versions worked fine.
