Chief Mobile is has redundant alerting using a combination of Tone Alerting & CAD Alerting. Allows you to receive & map incidents from your 911 dispatch center quickly. A push notification will alert you when a new dispatch occurs and forward you to the incident information and map. With Tone Alert, Chief Mobile works like your Fire Pager providing two sources for alerting. You can also receive messages that are sent out by other personnel. Get notified of open shifts, training, and other announcements instantly. The latest version allows you to reply to messages. Allows your personnel to update their status (i.e. Responding Station 1, Available, etc.). Their ETA is tracked while responding. Allows companies that use Chief Scheduling to view the company schedule by day and their own schedule. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Camp. Daycare. Soccer. Aftercare. Every one of them sends home the same forms — and every year you dig out the same immunization dates, pediatrician info, insurance numbers, and emergency contacts. Cubby stores it all once, encrypted with a password only you know, and fills out every registration packet that comes home — PDFs and enrollment websites. Upload a form, review what Cubby found, sign with your saved signature, done. • Autofills what every form asks: immunization dates, physician and hospital details, insurance, authorized pickups, allergies, and more • Reads fillable AND printed PDF forms; you review every value before anything is filled • Two saved signatures — yours and your co-parent's — placed exactly where forms want them • End-to-end encrypted: the cloud stores only ciphertext; not even Cubby can read your children's data • Sync across your devices with Sign in with Apple or Google — sign-in finds your data, only your password unlocks it • No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Ever.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cubby at none against Chief Mobile's 1. Cubby also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 5 weeks). Chief Mobile's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
