Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Bookmarks at Free against Brushes XP's $4.99. Bookmarks also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 13 months). Brushes XP's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 18.0). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
