Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Eyepic at 4.6 against PicKit Printer's 1.6. Eyepic also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 52) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). PicKit Printer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Eyepic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eyepic has 2.9K ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of PicKit Printer's written reviews are positive against 7% of Eyepic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

PicKit Printer ships an update every 2 months, Eyepic every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
