Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Repay at 100% against Tower Loan's 22%. Repay also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Tower Loan's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 1.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Repay sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. Tower Loan asks for nothing beyond the download.
Tower Loan holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tower Loan has 47 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Repay's written reviews are positive against 22% of Tower Loan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Repay ships an update every 6 weeks, Tower Loan every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
