LastQuake is a free, mobile application dedicated to alerting populations and gathering testimonies in real-time when an earthquake occurs. Designed by seismologists, LastQuake is the official app of the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC). Thanks to the participative action of its users, only a few minutes are needed for the EMSC to estimate earthquake effects and notify the population. [LastQuake is an ad-free app!] ** AN INNOVATIVE EARTHQUAKE DETECTION METHOD ** EMSC detects earthquakes using: ∘ Earthquake witnesses, who are the first to feel an earthquake, hence the first informed that an event is happening. ∘ Internet and mobile technologies, which allow rapid information collection of the effects observed by witnesses, who are asked to fill in a questionnaire and share photos and videos. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNCaHFxhZ5E ** COMMITMENT TO POPULATIONS AFFECTED BY EARTHQUAKES ** Information and communication are cornerstones in preventing risky behaviors. EMSC contributes to the reduction of seismic risk by providing you with: ∘ real-time information ∘ post-earthquake safety tips ∘ SMS service that allows victims to notify their loved ones. ** YOUR INVOLVEMENT MATTERS ** LastQuake is a citizen science project. Your contribution helps refine our understanding of earthquake effects while fostering our support in disaster preparation and response. ** KEY FEATURES ** ∘ Real-time information and data ∘ Customizable notifications (destructive earthquakes, earthquakes near you) ∘ Access to comments, photos, and videos by eyewitnesses ∘ Information-sharing via social media ∘ SMS service to notify loved ones when in the area impacted by an earthquake ∘ Post-earthquake safety tips ** WHAT'S NEW ** ∘ Interactive felt map ∘ Customizable notification test ∘ Earthquake notification through voice synthesizer ∘ Copy-paste available for comments ∘ Minor bugs fixed ∘ New languages available: Croatian, Czech, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Hebrew ** WHAT IS EMSC? ** EMSC is an international non-profit scientific NGO founded in 1975. Based in France, EMSC federates data from the seismological observatories of 86 institutes from 57 countries. While operating a real-time earthquake information service, EMSC advocates for public participation in scientific research. Its core product, LastQuake, paves the way for innovative approaches to building more disaster-resilient communities, making EMSC among the pioneers of disaster apps dedicated to earthquakes and tsunamis.
Earthquake Network

Know the moment the ground moves. Earthquake Network - Panic merges live earthquake data from six official seismic networks - USGS, EMSC, AFAD, Kandilli, INGV, and GeoNet - into one fast, clear feed, then tells you what each event means for the places you care about. Earthquakes cannot be predicted. What matters is how quickly and clearly you learn about them. That is the whole job of this app. LIVE MULTI-SOURCE FEED Real-time earthquakes from six official networks, merged and deduplicated with full source attribution. Search by region, filter by magnitude and time period, and see significant events separated from the background noise. If one network is down, the others keep reporting. WORLDWIDE MAP Explore every event on an interactive map. Tap any earthquake for magnitude, depth, distance from you, and estimated shaking intensity - clearly labeled estimates derived from official data, never predictions. CUSTOM ALERT RULES Choose the minimum magnitude and distance you care about and let automatic background checks watch the feeds for you. A magnitude 6 on the other side of the world and a magnitude 4 near your home are not the same event - your rules decide what is worth a notification. A built-in test alert shows you exactly what delivery looks like, and Notification Health in Settings shows whether alerts are actually working. WATCHED PLACES Save the places that matter - home, a parent's city, a child's school - and see a dedicated impact card for each one after every significant event: distance, expected shaking, and how the event was revised over time. STATISTICS AND TRENDS Charts of recent activity by magnitude, depth, and region, so you can tell an unusual week from an ordinary one. SAFETY GUIDE Clear, practical guidance for before, during, and after an earthquake - available offline whenever you need it. EARTHQUAKE GUARDIAN (optional subscription) Guardian extends monitoring to your whole household: - Watch up to 10 named places instead of 1 - Long-term Historical Explorer with place-specific trends - Family Sharing included at no extra cost Guardian is offered as an annual plan with a 7-day free trial for eligible users, or a monthly plan. Exact prices are always shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. The free tier stays genuinely useful - live feed, map, alerts, one watched place, and the safety guide are free forever, with the same reliability as Guardian.
