Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: TanukiFamily at 59% against 24U's 16%. TanukiFamily also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). 24U's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
