Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: DJI GO at 2.3 against H3 Control's 1.6. DJI GO also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 14). H3 Control's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
DJI GO holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI GO has 3.3K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of DJI GO's written reviews are positive against 19% of H3 Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
