Wolf is an experimental animation film experienced through augmented reality. Created by Alex Verhaest, Wolf unfolds not along a timeline, but across space. By pointing your device at specific artworks, you unlock hidden layers of a story—a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood seen through the lens of Judith Butler’s Gender Trouble. This is not a film you watch. It's a film you wander. Find the artworks via exhibition, invitation, or www.alexverhaest.com. Once scanned, the image springs to life, revealing layered scenes of glitch, myth, desire, and disobedience. Best enjoyed with headphones Watch each scene to its end—a soft chime will tell you when to move on More scenes will be added over time Wolf is part of Of Hide and Flesh, an evolving series about power, performance, and becoming.
