Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Giant Isopod+ at 4.9 against X EYE's 1.0. Giant Isopod+ also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). X EYE's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Giant Isopod+ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Giant Isopod+ has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Giant Isopod+'s written reviews are positive against 100% of X EYE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
