Verdict
RA Guide and Litmap both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Litmap's written reviews are positive against 52% of RA Guide's. Litmap also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). RA Guide's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for RA Guide against 5.0 for Litmap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RA Guide has 8.1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of RA Guide's written reviews are positive against 100% of Litmap's.
RA Guide ships an update weekly, Litmap every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
