Use Microsoft Authenticator for easy, secure sign-ins for all your online accounts using multi-factor authentication, passwordless, or password autofill. You also have additional account management options for your Microsoft personal, work or school accounts. Getting started with multi-factor authentication Multi factor authentication (MFA)provides a second layer of security. When enabled, during login after entering your password, you’ll be asked for an additional way to prove it’s really you. Either approve the notification sent to the Microsoft Authenticator, or enter the one-time password (OTP) generated by the app. The OTP codes have a 30 second timer counting down. This timer is so you never have to use the same time-based one-time password (TOTP) twice and you don’t have to remember the number. The OTP doesn’t require you to be connected to a network, and it won’t drain your battery. You can add multiple accounts to your app, including non-Microsoft accounts like Facebook, Amazon, Dropbox, Google, LinkedIn, GitHub, and more. Getting started with passwordless Use your phone, not your password, to log into your Microsoft account. Just enter your username, then approve the notification sent to your phone. Your fingerprint, face ID, or PIN will provide a second layer of security in this two-step verification process. After you’ve signed in with two factor authentication (2FA), you’ll have access to all your Microsoft products and services, such as Outlook, OneDrive, Office, and more. Microsoft personal, work or school accounts Sometimes your work or school might ask you to install the Microsoft Authenticator when accessing certain organization resources. You will need to register your device to your organization through the app and add your work or school account. Microsoft Authenticator supports cert-based authentication by issuing a certificate on your device. This will let your organization know that the sign-in request is coming from a trusted device and help you seamlessly and securely access additional Microsoft apps and services without needing to log into each. Microsoft Authenticator may request the following optional permissions, which require your consent. You can continue to use Microsoft Authenticator without granting these permissions. However, some features may be limited or unavailable. About

Exametric

Features

You have three exams in two weeks. You've been studying, but you have no idea if you're actually ready. Sound familiar? Exametric is the exam preparation companion that tracks your readiness - not just your hours. Add your exams, list the topics, and the app tells you where you stand, what to study next, and whether you're on pace to be ready by exam day. HOW IT WORKS When you add an exam, you break it into topics. As you study, you mark what you've covered and how confident you feel. Exametric calculates a readiness score for each exam using a model based on the Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve - your confidence in each topic decays over time, so a chapter you crammed two weeks ago doesn't count as "ready" anymore. The result: a single percentage that answers the question every student asks - "Am I going to be ready?" WHAT TO STUDY RIGHT NOW Open the app and Exametric tells you exactly what to work on. The suggestion engine considers which exam is most urgent, which topics need the most attention, and whether you're in your peak focus window or not. No more spending 15 minutes deciding what to study. Just start. If the suggestion doesn't feel right, tap to see ranked alternatives with explanations for each recommendation. BALANCE MULTIPLE EXAMS When you have several exams approaching, Exametric shows you how to split your time. The dashboard displays all your exams with readiness scores and days remaining, and recommends how much time to dedicate to each one today. No more fixating on the nearest exam while neglecting the rest. SMART NUDGES THAT ACTUALLY HELP Exametric sends targeted notifications when you need them - not generic "time to study" reminders. If you haven't studied for Statistics in 3 days and your readiness is dropping, the app tells you exactly which topic to tackle and for how long. If you've been on a streak, it celebrates your consistency. Nudges are specific, actionable, and respectful of your time. One per day maximum, never before 9 AM or after 10 PM. LEARN YOUR COGNITIVE PATTERNS Over time, Exametric learns when you focus best, how long your optimal study sessions are, and how your sleep affects your performance. These patterns are applied to your exam strategy - so the app doesn't just suggest what to study, but when to study it for maximum effectiveness. All pattern analysis happens on your device. Your data never leaves your phone. SESSION TRACKING YOUR WAY Start a live timer when you sit down to study, or log sessions manually after the fact. If the app detects that your Focus mode was active but no session was logged, it asks you to confirm - so your readiness score stays accurate even when you forget to hit start. During active sessions, a mini-player sits above the tab bar so you can navigate the app freely while your timer keeps running. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Exametric stores all data locally on your device. There is no account required, no login, and no data collection. HealthKit integration (for sleep data). Whether you're preparing for midterms, finals, professional certifications, or any exam with a deadline - Exametric helps you study smarter, not longer.
