Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: NextGen Mobile Solutions at free against DAX's subscription. NextGen Mobile Solutions also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 19) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). DAX's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 22%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for NextGen Mobile Solutions against 4.3 for DAX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextGen Mobile Solutions has 3.7K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of NextGen Mobile Solutions's written reviews are positive against 50% of DAX's.
NextGen Mobile Solutions ships an update fortnightly, DAX every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
