Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Advise Us at 100% against Amcrest Cloud's 20%. Advise Us also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and monetization model (free vs freemium). Amcrest Cloud's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Advise Us holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amcrest Cloud has 6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Amcrest Cloud's written reviews are positive against 100% of Advise Us's.
Amcrest Cloud ships an update every 4 months, Advise Us every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
