Looks legit. Guides you the right way

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We’re really happy to hear that the app feels helpful and guides you in the right direction. Your support means a lot to us!

Nailed the user experience

Most people don’t realize that if they want to lose serious weight they need to log what they eat. But when they do, they quit quickly because the apps are so bad. I realized ChatGPT could do this better than 99% of apps out there, including good estimation from photos… but it doesn’t work so well to have your log in an LLM chat. This app combines the best of both worlds and gets the chat user experience right. Maybe it’s the next MyFitnessPal.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this amazing review! This is exactly the experience we’re trying to build — making food logging feel natural, fast, and less frustrating than traditional calorie tracking apps. We really appreciate your support and kind words!

UI is terrible

We get it you’re a developer. Why the text scroll that I can’t skip. Very slow on boarding. Camera should pick up barcode without having to click every time! Good luck

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for the honest feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts — it helps us improve. You raise fair points. Regarding the barcode scanner — great news, it's already built in! Just point your camera at a barcode and it'll pick it up automatically. Give it another try and let us know how it goes. We're a small team iterating quickly, so expect improvements soon. If you'd like to share any more details, feel free to reach out to us directly — we'd love to get it right for you.

This app is amazing

I love to simplicity of it! But also covers all the important things like Marcos calories and active levels. As well as adjust daily for Macros and calories based off of active levels and weight loss or gained. My only issues is recent the text option to add logs became too large for my phone and I can’t log anything. I hope the developer can fix this and I would rate this app a 15/10.

Response from developer

Hi Datkevin49, thank you so much for the kind words and the 5-star review — it really means a lot! I'm happy to let you know that the issue you mentioned with the text input becoming too large has been fixed in version 1.4.3. Please update the app and everything should work smoothly again. If you ever run into any other issues, I'd really appreciate it if you could reach out to me at support@0xcal.app with more details so I can look into it right away. Thanks again for the support!

Simply the easiest way to track macros

I’ve been waiting for something like this. I don’t care enough to input every single meal or even vaguely input every single meal. This is so easy. I just talked to her. Tell him what I’m eating everyone’s well snap a picture if it needs more clarity and I’m done. I don’t even think about it.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this feedback! 🙌 This is exactly why I built 0xCal — tracking shouldn't feel like a chore. Manual logging is the #1 reason people give up on calorie tracking, and I wanted to remove that friction entirely. Just talk or snap, and you're done.
