Keeps crashing
Response from developer
Hi Matt, thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the trouble. We found the cause: on some devices, saving a finished workout to Apple Health crashes Gript when Apple Health hasn't granted permission to write Active Energy. Because the app retries that save on launch, it keeps crashing right after opening. The fix is in our next update – 1.18.0. Until then, you can stop the crashes by opening iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Gript and turning on Active Energy. Your workouts are safe and will sync to Apple Health as normal. If anything still isn't right, email us at help@griptapp.com and we'll sort it out personally. Thanks for sticking with Gript!
Best I have found

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review! It's great to hear the logging, the form guidance, and the auto-adjusting reps and weight are working well for you, and that starting on your phone and finishing on your Apple Watch fits how you train. Thanks for pointing out the watch falling behind when you jump to a different exercise on the phone. That's exactly the kind of detail that helps us. Starting on one device and finishing on the other should feel seamless, so we're looking into keeping the watch in sync when you go out of order. If you can tell us the steps (which exercise you were on, which one you jumped to, and what the watch showed), please send them through the feedback option in the app so we can reproduce it. We hope you love the full version when you decide to try it. Happy lifting! 💪
Elegantly Dynamic!
Response from developer
Thank you so much! It's great to hear the generator and progressive overload are working for you. That's exactly what Gript is meant to do – take the planning off your plate so you can just train. And thanks for noticing the updates. Most of them come straight from user feedback, so if there's anything you'd like Gript to do better, send it through the in-app feedback option and I'll read it personally. Happy lifting!
Pretty user friendly and clean
Annoyance- the menu buttons are smaller than normal Liquid Glass buttons and are harder to tap. Especially when sweating and breathing hard during a workout. Better spacing would help.
Response from developer
Thank you for the detailed review, this is really helpful! You're right about the buttons: the workout menu controls are currently a few points smaller than the standard Liquid Glass buttons, which makes them harder to hit mid-set. We're increasing them to the system size and improving the spacing in the next update. We'd love to hear which aesthetic details bothered you. If you have a minute, email us at help@griptapp.com with what you'd change and we'll take a serious look. Thanks for training with Gript!
Cleanest app I’ve used
Response from developer
Thank you! A clean screen you don't get lost in is exactly the goal, so this means a lot. Gript is early and we're shipping updates every week. If you tell us which glitches you ran into and which features you're missing, we'll prioritize them. The feedback button in Settings goes straight to us, or you can email help@griptapp.com. We'd love to make this your favorite app.
