Very Useful But Needs Polish
Thanks for the free app but some things I’d love to see improved that I would pay for is a built in auto tuner to test my voice ( and tune up my guitar). Also a dark mode would be huge. Using dark apps like GarageBand and then going to this on my iPad is like looking into the sun (slight exaggeration). Speaking of iPad it would be very nice to let the app rotate so I’m not always looking at it sideways. And one last thing, it would be nice if the note tones looped seamlessly instead of hearing the break in your audio sample.

Found this app as I was preparing for my introductory audition, perfect! Easy to use, and great for beginning build my musical knowledge.
Pocket Pitch Review
I think this app is pretty good! One thing I wish was different is about the piano portion of the app. I think it would be helpful if the screen would switch from up and down, to side to side one your screen; I feel like this would make it easier to play the notes (and since it is supposed to be a piano, it would make it more realistic).
Overall, this app is pretty cool and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone who’s considering getting it or not.

Pocket pitch
I use this during choir rehearsal, preparing for solo singing and when choosing sheet music. Awesome!

Works ok
For what should be a fairly straightforward app it takes a long time to launch on my 10R. I have a feeling it’s doing a sneaky network call before the interface is allowed to come up. Also is a little bit glitchy. Sometimes it just doesn’t generate a sound and I’ll need to kill it and relaunch.
Terrific for pitching songs and worship
I lead singing many times each week in use this app to pitch every song I lead.
After a song is finished, I listen to the original pitch to see if the groups I lead are flatting the original pitch.
This is a good app for any song leader.

Was there when I needed it!
I’m a lifelong musician and I direct several choirs. When the power went out one night during a dress rehearsal the choir was all for continuing. I pulled out my handy-dandy cell phone with Pocket Pitch, and the dress rehearsal was a success! It was really there when I needed it! By the way the performance was great! Thank you! Easy to use, good results!

Great for the less musical of us!
I sing in a choir but don’t have a piano so need to check pitch esp on accidentals . I find the keyboard works well for me and I think it helps me to hit the correct notes!

This is a fantastic app! It is super for quick tones to get your note during a quick review right before Mass. I like being able to switch to keyboard mode if you need to go over a couple measures. Superb!
