  • Great info!

I never rate apps - but this is a great app and even bought all the modules, which I also never do! This app has all the info you’d want to see - how you have improved in pushing yourself, how your heart health has improved, and just about everything else. It’s a great app! I’m a real person, I was not paid and I don’t know the developer, it’s just a very well done app.

  • Heart Rate Analyzer

This app is a real game-changer for doing a deep dive into your cardiovascular health. The graphics and deep data analytics available to the user are world class. The watch app is a powerful and convenient portal into your heart health on the iPhone. I look at this data almost daily, and appreciate the thoughtful and useful manner in which it is laid out and organized. Job well done to the developers and premium content creators. Incredibly valuable app to own and use to improve your health.

  • Life Saver

Being seniors we bought two Apple watches. I was feeling a little tired and the app said my BPM was 39 while resting. A few days later it alerted me again it was too low. I Checked into a hospital and the next day they gave me a pacemaker. I believe the app saved my life by alerting me in advance. Paying a few dollars more to get all the benefits is well worth it.

  • Time Scale Doesn’t Change

I paid for the premium feature to be able to customize the infograph display on my watch. However, changing between the “Auto 3/12 Hr” and “Fixed 6 Hr” options has no effect on the displayed graphs. Selecting different colors for the graphs also has no effect.

I also have some concerns about the information provided to interpret EKG rhythms. I am a former Paramedic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor. I think EKG interpretation is beyond the scope of what this app is intended to do. It takes more training to understand the significance of the different parts of heart rhythms. The information provided could confuse lay users about what they are seeing, possibly causing them to think it is harmless and delay seeking medical help when really needed.

Update - I sent two emails to the developer about the problems with the scales on the graphs. I got no response. I’m going back to HeartWatch.

Hi there, Really sorry to hear that you've had some trouble with the app. We do reply to every email so please get in touch with us again via Simon@HelixApps.co.uk, really keen to assist if we can as this definitely shouldn't be happening. Many thanks, Simon
  • Heart Analyzer is AMAZING

I have atrial fib, and it's very important to me to know what my heart is doing. Heart Analyzer gives me a mammoth amount of information that is easy to understand and assimilate. Then at month's end, I get a detailed report of all things cardiac, including a tremendous amount of data that I would never have known, and most of it is free. For about 4USD (one time!!) there is an additional wealth of information available. Heart Analyzer is the single most valuable app on my Apple Watch.

  • I want to like it but . . .

As much as I want to like this app I can’t use it. My exercise rings on Apple Watch Series 5 will literally go from less than 1/4 way around to full and complete in less than 5 minutes of typing. I could see that possibly if it happened daily because I’m a telephonic nurse and type all day long. Problem is it might happen once every few weeks and it throws off my averages. I thought maybe uninstalling and reinstalling would resolve it but it did it again today after a few days of being reinstalled. I’ve purchased every extra on this app too because I really like what it does as a nurse but the inaccurate exercise numbers is a killer for me.

  • Superior App

Superior App hands down. Having a ugly issue with AFib, I have a need to pay attention. App graphs are amazing, you can easily see a clear picture of heart activity. If you need or want to stay on top of trends and activity then you have reached nirvana with Heart Analyzer. As a major bonus to the app is a developer who is responsive as well as willing to help. I had a issue with my app and sent an email hoping something stupid on my part was the problem. Developer was fast and more than willing to help, turned out to be my watch iOS was the issue and easily fixed. Plain and simple, superior app, fantastic graphics and display, developer willing to help and responsive. Best app I have downloaded in a very long time, thank you Heart Analyzer, you have my full support and gratitude for all of your work to develop this app.

  • Heart Rate Recovery Flawed

FYI to athletes looking to track HR Recovery, the “Deep Analytics” HR Recovery functionality is flawed this app. The issue is that most, if not all, workouts will include some kind of a cool down period before completing the workout where much of your HR recovery can be realized. This app isn’t able to recognize that condition. I noticed that my HR Recovery numbers were being scored as “poor” in both the 1-minute and 2-minute periods. My 1-minute recovery is typically 35-38 bpm but this app was reporting only 5-7. Hmmm. That’s when I realized it was only looking at my HR when I clicked “end” on my workout. I then tested the app by performing a workout where I immediately ended the workout without a cool down and it correctly calculated my recovery. So just be warned that if you utilize any kind of cool down, this app will misreport your HR Recovery.

Hi there, Really sorry to hear that you've had some trouble with the app. You are absolutly correct that Heart Analyzer's workout recovery is purely based on the time of completion of the workout. This is primarily because of the data that is available to the app but I'd love to discuss this a bit further and go over potential alternatives in future updates. Please get in touch via Simon@HelixApps.co.uk. Many thanks, Simon
  • Great app but need support

Has worked really well for me until the recent update which was advertised as a complete overhaul that would include more frequent complication updates but now it hardly updates ever. Usually have to open app on my watch to update. I do have refresh on.
Regardless of this I’ve really enjoyed the app and it’s worth every cent.

  • Was excited until......

When I first saw all the metrics this apps provides I quickly bought all premium features. Then I noticed that the app would crash when I go into workout data and slide the bottom heart information bar. Right when getting into the “metrics” view. I have rebooted phone, reinstalled app, open and Close the app and done it with and without rebooting phone when doing the app reinstall. I sent an email to the developer but then noticed they say it could take up to 10 WORKING days to respond. I downloaded this app because it was features in 9to5 as amazing which it looks like it is but can’t say if I can’t use one of the main features! Anyways, I know software is unpredictable but when a paid app has this issues (and apparently known based on other reviews) I think is unacceptable. I sent them a video with the exact issue since it only happens on that specific instance just to try to help. I hope it doesn’t take 10 days to get it fixed because I really look forward to use the app.

Hi there, really sorry to hear you're having trouble with the latest version of Heart Analyzer. We have identified this as an isolated issue when viewing some workouts. All the other areas of the app should not be affected though. I'm sorry about our long response time listed, but that is absolute worst case. Recently we've replied to all emails within 24 hours including yours, we also have a fix update for this due out very soon. I hope this all helps, please get back in touch though if you have any more issues via Simon@HelixApps.co.uk
