HomeKit keeps asking for firmware update
This is very infuriating, I have a permanent notification on my HomeKit app and I can’t get rid of it keeps asking for firmware update but none is available. Kaiterra: Please fix this and ill make it a five star review.Аchille

Next to a professional calibrated CO2 meter your Egg CO2 is on average +70ppm regardless of the actual measurement. I suggest you look at the conversion equation you are using to bring this closer to actual or w/in +/- 50ppm.OneMoreReviewer
Terrible App for a good product
Still, after many updates, my My Air page (the home page) neither shows my devices nor the AQI for my city. Been broken a long time, along with other things...jonodale

Hi, thanks for writing, and sorry about the trouble you're having. The My Air screen can temporarily come up blank under certain conditions, and we'll be shipping a fix to that soon. We'll need clarification to get these other issues fixed for you, though. Please drop us a note at support@kaiterra.com with which device models are having which problem, and if possible, a screenshot or set of steps to show us what you mean about not recognizing your Home!Useless
Since the latest app update the app no longer works and the weather no longer updates on the egg. I have reached out to the manufacturer with little help given.
Can no longer recommend this app or the egg until this is sorted. When everything works the app and egg products are very good. Unfortunately there is no reliability which makes it useless.
Update, now unusable, keeps losing connection and has to be reset all the time. Don’t use this app or Laser egg until this is sorted. I am now using a competitors machine, not wasting any more time with this one.Show lessSte999R
Wi-Fi connection very unstable
Every day or two the device disconnects itself from the Wi-Fi and the Wi-fi connection needs to be set-up again.
What a pain!!!
This has been an issue since I bought the device over a year ago. Still not fixed :(ScruffyGriffin

Can’t get past the ‘Kaiterra is waiting for iCloud to sync’ message to add the device despite restarting my device numerous times. Instructions/feedback on the issue are extremely scarce.B89gcg

Hi, sorry this is happening. Unfortunately HomeKit depends on the full iCloud system on your device functioning properly, and iCloud can get into a stuck state. This app helps me quickly understand if there’s an issue with the air quality in my home or bad AQI in my area.
When we were hit with lingering smoke from the forest fires (on the West Coast) I had no idea what to do to protect myself. Now I can measure what’s happening and know if it’s safe for me to go for a run or play golf outside. I can tell if there is smog or fog outside, and I don’t have to worry about the safety of opening a windows on polluted days.
While I’m not looking forward to being faced with pollution again in the future, I feel better knowing I’m prepared with the Laser Egg.Show lessC.John_2018
Last Update Improved Alot
I contacted customer service a while about some bugs. From when I contacted them, it took them a few weeks time to update, but they were very nice, responsive and open about the timeline. Overall worth the wait. Can recommend the Laser Egg 2+ and this app!s.wanz012
Nice design, easy to use
Downloaded the app prior to traveling to China in order to keep an eye on pollution levels. App was able to geolocate the nearest air quality station and give me the latest hourly readings.

Great for pairing with my Laser Egg
Really enjoying the new firmware update! I definitely recommend connecting your Laser Egg to the app for added functionality. The home screen shows a direct comparison of my indoor and outdoor air quality, so I know if my air purifier is working.
Integrates well with Apple HomeKit. Can get readings for air quality, temperature, and humidity.
