Need better PMs
I think most people are turned off by stash because the dashboard isn’t lively. The tickers are delayed by 15 minutes or so. In conversations I’ve had with customers that I’ve recommended the product to, they prefer a more up to date live market feed as opposed to a stale/stick dashboard that doesn’t appear to move and isn’t lively. Also, in order to buy more of a stock or sell it you should have a first layer option within the portfolio instead of burying it multiple layers deep. This confuses everyday Americans and presents a learning curve against the listed mission. The best apps don’t need a user manual to use it. You should hire product managers that have more investing experience instead of millennials that are stuck on having a zoom call arguing about the color scheme or prioritizing feedback that doesn’t align with the business objectives. You are focusing on confirming what you’ve already done is a pleasant experience instead of validating that it isn’t because you’ve already built something and don’t have the right people to fix it.
