I love how crazy this game can get! Anything can happen. I, a broken cyborg who the government experimented on, broke both of my arms while coming into contact with a fungus tower. My arms began bulging and fungus spouted out of my arm, falling on the floor and becoming sentient. I ran from my fungus child and I than ran into a gang of giant spiders that killed me. 10/10Show lessSwaggaDeej
Just like the PC version, but more complicated
Imagine the pc version of the game, with all its menus and hotkeys that take ages to remember, now imagine the whole thing on a tiny screen using your hands to click on millimeter sized boxes. Imagine trying to put duct tape on a window so your character won’t be bothered by the light, only to accidentally commit suicide via dirty toilet water.Show lessAnton Qrow
How ‘bout that Terminal Size?
I would love to review the game. The trouble is, I can’t play it. The app store page informed me that this was indeed compatible with my iPhone (iPhone XR) and I thought “wow, a free game that I’ve heard great things about, I’ll have to play it.”
But then I was informed by the game that the minimum terminal size necessary to play was 80x24, and that my XR only had a terminal size of 60x19. It suggested I change my font size. Since there were no C:DDA specific settings available in app or through my settings menu, I changed my font size in general. Nothing happened.
I’d be glad to change my review, either if this is changed or if the store page is updated to convey that the iPhone XR is not compatible, but until then this review stands.Show less3yes
A brilliant port
The game is well the base game is great current down side right now is it’s not up to date which really isn’t that big of a deal, good for quick runs

Great game on pc, but the port needs work
CDDA is by far my favorite roguelike, but the port for iOS needs quite a bit of work. Some of the option menus are permanently in Russian even after you change the language settings, the zoom features are kind of broken, and the way picking up items is done is kind of different from the way it’s done on PC. Instead of pressing “g” and using the arrow keys to pick up something from that direction like on PC, you must stand over it, swipe up to access the keyboard, and press “g”. This game definitely has potential on iOS, but it needs a lot of changes.Show lessSmartPenguin552
Excellent game
When you get past the complicated UI it’s an amazing game. I won’t be putting it down for a while. I haven’t played the PC version but I’m very excited to when I get the chance seeing how good of a game it is in mobile form.Yopmanking
Needs updating
This game is a pretty good port of the only version (PC) but has a few gameplay issues such as the keyboard system interfering with the pull tabs I swipe my options instead of the keyboard half the time, there also needs to be an ingame micro transaction so we can support the game to be actively updated here as this version IS MANY YEARS OLD.... very very outdated, going from here to PC is barely recognizable as the actual game itself.Show lessShadowNova

Update: Soundpack no longer seems to work, can someone please help? This is still my favorite IOS app.
Survival Game, Apocalypse Sim, Zombie Sim, Roguelike, Open World Adventure. This is flat out the best game on IOS period. Please buy the sound pack to support the dev who did the port. Possible 0.D Support?
Absolutely love this game, has been my all time favorite since I found out about it a few years back. I played it for months on end on PC, and love being able to play on iPhone, despite not getting to use all my mods. My big question is if this will ever get updated to any of the latest stable builds?
