Big bugs

Getting frustrated with this app. Does not save location and the filter function for finding jobs local is ridiculously faulted. The locations are so randomized that there is no sequence to how they are placing job potentials is a proper list. The jobs are from one side of the U. S. to the literal opposite side of the U. S. Yet somehow, and I do say “somehow” sparingly, there are a few local jobs with the town and city I selected to view potential jobs in, scattered within this mess. App is utterly worthless at this point.

Low Grade Positions

I was excited for a job searching app/site that focused on applicants with college degrees. However, upon my first hour of use I was seeing jobs for window cleaners, house cleaners and all sorts of positions that were extremely entry level. The location filter seemed to be useless as jobs from other states were listed, even after “by relevance” was selected for sorting. A true waste of time for those looking for employment or employees.

Garbage from the jump

I figured I'd use the app to look for summer jobs I can have once I leave the military. Didn't even get a chance to do that because on the "verify your email" portion, once you click the verification link in your email it'll take you right back to the "verify your email" page on the app, and the app won't respond at all. I waited for fifteen minutes for it to work and still nothing. Closed and opened it again, nothing. Resent the verification emails twice and still nothing. Very telling of the kind of app I'm dealing with if one is having problems before their account is even created.

Hey @Zoe013 - Sorry to hear that you've had verification issues and apologies on the delay getting back to you. Can you shoot an email to studenthelp@wayup.com? Love to help you get that account set up! - Tricia

App not letting login or find jobs

I recently changed phones and redownloaded the app. I says “null” when I try to login and when I search for jobs on the old phone it indicated that it can’t find any jobs.

Is there an error on the app?

I enjoy using the app

I’ve spent numerous days and nights trying to find jobs listed out of New York City and close to home but it’s been so hard trying to find something that worked with travel time and school. Once I found WayUp it’s become so much easier to find jobs that work with my class hours it’s easier to talk to email a director or recruiter telling them the days I need to work and it helps out. I just got hired for my first job and it’s going well so far.

I appreciate the WayUp team and hope they continue doing a good job

Bruh

This Is My 2nd Time Using The App, The First Time It Put Me On The Web And I Was Able To Find Places In Houston, Tx. So, I Went On The App Instead And I Put The Location For Houston, Tx, USA, But This Time It Says “Hmmm, No Matching Jobs Found!” So I Was Looking Confused Because Not To Long Ago I Was Able To Find A Few Places In Houston, That I Also Saved On The Web After I Logged In And On The App, It Said You Don't Have Any Saved.... So Now To The Next Day, I Tried Again M, But This Time I Used All The Filters They Had, The Only Ones I Didn’t Use Were From The Location And Its Because I Inly Stay In One Place “Houston, Tx” So That Was The Only One That Was Checked For Location, I Checked Every Single One In The “Industry” Part And Alternated The Filters From “Most Relevance - Recent” & From “All Year - Entry Level” & I Got The Same Thing... The Only Thing That Was Different This Time Is That The Ones I Had Saved Were No Available In The “My Jobs” Part... So If You Plan On Using This App, I Would Say It’s Better To Go Online And Do This.

Oh no! So sorry about this😔! We've actually just discovered what's been causing this issue, and we're releasing a fix for it ASAP. Once that's live would you be willing to give us another shot? Also, we'd love to learn more about your job searching experience and how we can make it better. Would you mind reaching out directly to us at mobile.team@wayup.com?

Deserves five stars!

Both the site and app are incredibly helpful and easy to use! I would highly recommend the app as it is easily accessible and provides quick, easy access to WayUps perks wherever you are!

WayUp is the way to go!

The platform is clearly designed with college students like myself in mind! It’s easy to navigate and WayUp actually works...they show relevant jobs and employers can communicate with potential candidates all in the app. Thank you for showing me so many opportunities, WayUp!

Massive improvements!

Over the past few months they’ve redone a lot on the app and the new changes make a a big difference. Worth a 2nd look if you had the old version!

App is horrible

Every time I click on a job posting to view more about it, it brings me to an error page. Every. Single. Posting. How completely ridiculous to have an app list the job postings that are available, only to tell you you can’t view more information about it or apply. Apps are supposed to be convenient, and since I can’t get to my computer as often to the website, this app was supposed to be a solution. Well, now I’m uninstalling it. Bye 👋

🤦🏾‍♀️ we dropped the ball on this one, and we're super sorry about that. Because of reviews like yours, we kicked into hyperdrive to diagnose, test and release fixes to these issues. Since you left your review, we've release two new versions of the app that have a reworked search algorithm, fixes for these exact errors you experienced, and also the ability to edit your profile from mobile. If you think that will address your very, very valid concerns, would you consider giving WayUp another try? If you experience more issues, I'd love to work with you more directly over email to figure out how to fix your issues. Sorry again, and thanks in advance😅!
