  • Pre-post Natal now Perimenopause

    I’ve been on Yoga Glo since I was pregnant with my first child. I can’t say enough good things about this platform. And I’ve really tested out many of the different styles. In fact, I now advocate that Yoga is for EVERYBODY and try to educate about the different styles of yoga and ways to learn how to modify. This is a very different experience than when you take yoga at a resort or on a cruise and they try to contort and force you into positions. I think that turns most people off of Yoga.

    Yoga Glo is helping to educate people who are new to yoga and satisfy whatever your Yoga needs are for the more advanced practitioner. For me, it’s a no-brainer that you can choose on demand whenever you have time and filter based on duration, style, Teacher. It’s so much better than trying to carve out time to practice at a specific time with other people where you have to drive to and from. On demand is really the only way I can have a yoga practice as a young working mother. I’m sure others can relate.

    I need to shout out to my teachers I’ve had for over a decade that I’ve never met-Felicia Tomasko, Stephanie, and Tiffany. You’ve helped me far more than you can ever realize through pregnancy, postpartum, now my next life stage in perimenopause and everything in between. You’ve anchored me and helped me get through six surgeries on my knees, along with severe anxiety and depression. I have so much gratitude for you and this platform.

  • No customer support

    I’ve been trying to contact customer support for weeks and weeks about glo’s new privacy policy that was updated and no one has been able to help me. The phone number provided on the privacy policy is not working and the email to support is also getting bounced back. There’s is zero customer support. They responded below that they have contacted me but the thing is that their phone number still doesn’t work and the privacy policy doesn’t have an opt out option. They sell your health information to third parties and there’s no way you can get out of it unless you cancel with them with and there’s no refund. I don’t know how this is legal. Ethically, I’m beyond disappointed in this yoga and meditation app. They will say in their response that they don’t sell your information but they do because it says they do in their policy. You can go see for yourself. It’s impossible to get a straight answer out of them and it take 3 days for them to respond to the new email address they gave me. I have no idea how they haven’t been sued over this. They should be.

  • Pausing a video completely loses your place

    I have had a Glo account ever since it was called YogaGlo. 10 years now… The app is nowhere as good as the website (which also had glitches but I deal with it). I use an iPhone and have had several iPhones over the past 10 years and they all do the same thing with this app. When I’m in the middle of a video and I pause it; completely loses my place and then goes to the end of the video where it says “good job”. It’s so frustrating; Especially when you are totally in your zone and only stop to take a swig of water.

    One of the greatest things about streaming exercise is if you need to take a break you can pause it. You can’t do that with this app because you will lose your place and unless you happen to remember to know exactly what minute you were on it’s just going to be endless frustration. I can’t imagine I’m the only person that has had this problem. This is hands down the most expensive streaming service I pay for. It’s such a minor detail that they could probably fix very easily.
