Cloud storage doesn’t work
The app indicates that you get 30 days of free cloud storage. However if you enable cloud storage and then go to look for your video it always generates a network error. My connection is fine. There isn’t even an option to sign up for paid storage. I bought the camera 4 years ago and haven’t used it for nearly that long. I wonder if this company is even still in business. The app is useless unless you only want to view in real time or record to a SD card in the camera - certainly not secure.

APP & WEBSITE DOWN FOR 3 DAYS NOW
Customer support isn’t working. I’m unable to contact anyone bc the entire website and app is down. It’s making me nervous the company got hacked or something. My camera seems to be connected and the light is on but I noticed 3 days ago, a notification popped up on the Tenvisty App saying, “System unavailable. Contact customer support.” Even after multiple resets, the app no longer works. I had family members check their TENVIS cameras just to make sure it wasn’t something on my end. They’re having the same problem!! None of the buttons on the app are working so it’s impossible to contact customer service through the app. So I googled the website and every single TENVIS webpage is down. Every link you click pops up a “System unavailable “ on the top left screen . I’m nervous that something big happened, like security breach or the company went bankrupt overnight because for the entire website and app to go down for DAYS now, with zero communication from the company is causing alarm, and there’s absolutely no one to contact about this concern because they only offer online chat customer service which is “unavailable.”
Even the reset password setting isn’t working which is another concern. I tried reaching out to two twitter accounts I found but both profiles don’t seem like they’ve been active since late 2021.

Pretty good
Could do with a few little changes but all in all for a free app it’s pretty good.
Has potential but…
The biggest issue w/ this app is that it doesn’t remember log-in/password info. Have to log in every several days and even then, it hangs up & freezes so you have to restart it again before it allows you to access your camera.
Stopped working while away
The concept is great, and the cameras have worked well overall. However, here we are, 5 hours away from home, and today both cameras are showing disconnected so now we can’t monitor our dogs. The other camera out back from the brand that rhymes with Ping is still working, so it’s not an issue with my network. Really enjoyed the operation for the first 2 days, but now feel they’re not reliable enough and I would recommend other options.

Unreliable, at best
I’ve had this app and two cameras for some time now. I use them only as pet cams. At peak performance, the app is unreliable. I have to close and reload the app upwards of 10 times just to get it to load my cameras and get off the spinning wheel. And that’s while I’m on the same network as my cameras. I’ve needed to check in on my sick dogs before and I had to just get in to the camera and then keep it open all day on my phone because I couldn’t be sure it would open later. When you can actually view the camera, it is nice to be able to move it around. The sound is clear, too. I used a memory card once and it did record for a bit, but then it stopped and hasn’t recorded since. And notifications were either constant or sporadic, no matter the settings, no in between. The app is fine if you have no other choice.

Great when it works
I don’t know what the devs are doing, but this worked fine for like the first two years. Ever since the app updates I don’t get notifications anymore. I’ve reset it, gotten new internet, gotten a new phone. Within the phone app I will turn notifications on but it doesn’t stick. It makes having this pointless if it’s not going work.

THEE WORST!!!
Used to love this camera and the App but over time it has gotten progressively worse! Every time I open the app there is an issue and I’m forced to try and figure out how to get it working this time. Today when I opened all of the sudden it’s asking for a password that I NEVER set up! So now I’m out of town and cannot see my home. SO DISSATISFIED

Terrible App, Terrible Servers
The app was pretty bad originally, but worked some of the time. It forces you to connect with their servers to see your camera even if you’re on the same network. This means really bad connections, lag, random issues. Why not just let us keep everything in home network? Also because of this their new update totally erased my cameras. So I have to unmount my camera to scan it and hopefully it’ll work.

Don’t buy this device!
Initially it worked great but now it consistently does not work. Can’t log in because it shows I have no account. No way to get in touch with anyone. Received a notification that the server room went down due to a fire but that was months ago. Still doesn’t work.
