Gone downhill fast lately (JUL24)
We have 3 of the locks with bridges - up until July 2024 we had no issues for the last few years.
Since July 2024, the app constantly signs me out (sometimes half way through creating a code), the app says the bridge is off line when you try to save a new code (but the bridge is not offline).
The app constantly signs me out (it is the latest version), meaning I’m not getting alerts. The app signs me out 1/2 way through creating a new code, with an error message that the bridge is off line, and when I sign back in, the code I was creating during this process has actually been created sometimes - it’s inconsistent.
To be fair, a few months ago I needed help as one of our bridges faulted, and after emailing the required information to Igloo, I received a prompt, friendly response that addressed and rectified the issue.
I am quickly losing confidence in this product, and have had to resort to setting up spare codes for the times the platform “plays up” - meaning I then have no control over access times.Show lessiluvdeboraharry
The app needs work
I have spent hundreds of dollars on locks that malfunction constantly. There are serious quality issues with this brand. I have two of the fingerprint locks that have paired then while doing the recommended firmware update it just errored and ended. The drive shows up on my device list yet I can’t do anything to add access fingerprints. When I try to delete the lock it just gives me an error message so I won’t even delete off the account. Won’t stay logged in
We use these for work with a shared account, we have 6 devices across 3 sites.
The usability is fine, although wifi would be great so they stay synced as that can be a pain
But my biggest gripe is the stupid app logs out every few days/weeks and as it’s a shared account, I don’t have the login details handy all the time, so it’s incredibly inconvenientShow lessTisMe!!!
Used to be good but…
After app update they TOOK AWAY functions that came with the lock and now I’m stuck with ONE (1) editable passcode.

Igloohome so I know you make padlocks and you make other things. Can you please make with your company safes, but can you just not make any Safe? Can you make it safe that has the igloo Home app? so you can be able to enter the passcode but if you ever forget the passcode, you can go on the safe and you can enter the passcode and if you ever forget the passcode, the passcode will be stored in the app and the safe would be really tough and really strong and the toughest Safe ever in the history. I want your company to make a safe 100%. It would be very cool if your company did that 100% and make small models, big models, mini models, huge models, toughest models, white models, really toughest models so that people can protect their items in a safe, but with the Igloohome app 100% an offer included the hub if you get the Safe and you can use it with all your other products 100%Show lessPatrickEbertz
So much functionality lost
With the latest update I am no longer able to edit PIN codes. No longer able to extend duration codes. I want my control back on how and when access to my home is allowed.
Syncing with Apple app takes longer and always gives an error but eventually syncs. Support told me that future app upgrade will no longer support my deadbolt and that I should consider buying newer version. I don’t want to buy a new deadbolt every 5 years.Show lessatariplayr
Doesn’t function
After many frustrating hours trying to install a lock, Kim finally informed by their customer support that there is a bug in their IOS app and it can’t be used to set up a lock.

Planned obsolescence
I was very happy with my igloo key box until recent software updates have removed functionality from older locks. I can see from other reviews that others have had a similar experience. I contacted the company and they told me there was no way to revert back to an older version of the software so I cannot get the functionality that I originally purchased back. This planned obsolescence is highly disappointing and unethical in my opinion. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.Show lessJacq...
