Barely gives you enough time to check if it’s accurate then slaps you with a $15 purchase screen
10 trials is nowhere near enough and not to mention the stupid menus that pop up in the middle of the test, not enough time to even use the trials, horrible app, and $15 is a ridiculous price point, absolutely insane that you charge anyone this much money for something this minuscule
$15?!
Wish wasn’t so expensive.
Looks good but very few people but for repair techs could justify 15 bucks. I still give it 5 stars because the trial gave me a chance to see how good it is. BUT I needed more than 10 uses to actually fix my turntable. Oh well, it was free.I was thinking that if I did fix it, how often would use it again, if ever?
Thanks

Works well
Used this to diagnose and help check a fix on my turntable- easy to use and very helpful. Must admit I bought it by accident (watch that) but I don’t begrudge it for a well implemented tool. My turntable isn’t listed (Edwards Audio TT1) but that doesn’t really matter to me - just for contributing to the database.

Database won’t download
Seems that the database won’t download. Starts ok, but every tine I come back to the app, I have to start the download again.
Response from developer
Latest Update: this is now resolved, downloads are now much faster. Update: I have found there is a problem with completing the download, this will be fixed asap. Hello, The database download is quite slow right now due to so many entries, as the download can’t continue in the background you will need to keep the app open to get that first full download completed. I’m looking at ways to make the download more efficient. Thanks for your feedback. Phil
Seems to work perfectly
App has 10 uses, which seems more than enough to try it and see if it for you. I’m convinced my TT is playing fast, and this confirms it.

Thanks for your great feedback.
Need More Trials
I noticed my record player was playing my vinyls about a pitch too low, downloaded this app and proceeded to fine tune it for 30 minutes. You can imagine why 10 trials is too short so I paid for the full version. It definitely got the job done and I will be using it forever, but around 15-20 trials would be much easier in my opinion.

Great app, but…
This app works great, but it only gives you 10 rpm tests before it becomes useless. Now I would gladly buy this app, however… it’s $21+ tax! I understand the days of dollar apps may be over, and i’d gladly pay, say 5 bucks for a good app like this but i think north of 20 dollars is just the developer getting greedy, especially for something that will be very seldom used.

Stupid
Barely gives you a chance to even try it successfully
Good, but trial is way too limited and the full version costs way too much
This app is pretty good, as far as I can tell. It’s really easy to use and doesn’t require as much effort as a stroboscope; just put your phone on a roll of tape above your turntable’s spindle and go. However, it’s extremely limited on the free version, with only 10 tests for 33 RPM and, confusingly, no way to calibrate the app. Like another reviewer said, 10 tests is just enough to potentially get you into trouble if you don’t know what you’re doing. I have no qualms with paying for a good app, but 15 dollars for the full version is way too much for an app I’d rarely use. If you aren’t constantly adjusting the speed on turntables, just print out a stroboscope disk and get a stroboscope app. It takes a little more effort but it’s completely free.

Locks after 10 tries
It was great up until you get locked out after 10 tries. Not worth my time or money to pay $15 for an upgrade, when the trial itself isn’t long enough.
