Poor design for trial use
You think for $20.99 they’d at least let you try it for 10 seconds to get an accurate reading. Of course there is going to be flutter, the turntable needs to get up to speed for it to get even decent reading and the trial doesn’t allow for that.
Really good but…
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do but 20$ is way too expensive for most people. Would definitely rate 5 stars if the price was lower
Works very well
Very handy app. Like that I can place it atop the record weight and get a reading.
Constantly wanting to pay for the upgrade
App works fine for about 15 seconds then an upgrade screen covers the result.
Fix that pitch with RPM!
Thanks to Philip for an outstanding app. Noticed en entire LP album was a little too high in pitch. Searched for an app to help me fix this issue and then after many tries RPM fixed it, wow thanks again!
Bought the app still having issues
When I was using the trial it was working fine. I’d place it at the center of my TT and it would show me my results. However, once I purchased the full version, it stopped showing me my results. I’ve tried recalibrating various times but the app has unfortunately become completely useless to me :(
Too expensive for me
I tried using it and learned that it only allows 10 tries before it requires you to upgrade for way more than I am willing to pay for this type of app. I went and bought another app instead for a reasonable price.
One complaint
Great app. My one complaint is that after an extended time watching my phone spin around on the platter while monitoring the display I was definitely wanting to barf, and the feeling did not go away for 90 minutes. Vertigo inducing, but does what it’s supposed to.
Only 10 tries? Really?
I would give this app zero stars if I could. Bombards you with wanting to update you to the $15 version CONSTANTLY. Plus, only giving you 10 spins until you have to pay for it? It detects any movement so it counts whether or not you actually spun your phone on the table. Give me a break...
It works!
It did what it said it would do so you can not ask for more than that. Used it on my Project PR1 turntable which is stripped down manual and basic so it does not have a way of checking the speed of the servo motor. This App did the job.
Response from developer
Great to hear, thank you. Yes, it does the job!
