Fixed my rpm issue instantly. I just set my phone in the middle of my record player on an empty tape roll (or a tape roll) and then let it spin. Made adjustments until it was within -1% or +1%. My record player is fixed 🤘🏻

This is the only app of its kind as it seems, and while its functionality is great, the user interface is dated and if you would like to do anything other than run a 33 RPM Test for longer than 10 seconds, then you must spend an entire $15 dollars for full access to the other features. What a joke
Even the Free Trial is Worthless
You're bombarded with request upon request to buy the godforsaken app before you can even utilize its primary function. When every notification is finally spent, your trial is up.

Don’t download this if you aren’t going to immediately upgrade. It will give your RPM once, but if you try to calibrate your machine, this app charges you for the second use.

Does not work long enough to see if it is really accurate. Stops before I have it up to speed. Not wasting my money on something I don’t know if it will really work.

Thanks for your feedback. There is plenty of opportunity to test the accuracy, but if you do not wish to upgrade for full functionality that’s fine.

Wouldn’t let me test it longer than 5 seconds. Forced me to keep relaunching app but it locked me out. No chance I’ll pay $14 for something that doesn’t work. Used (and paid for) a competitors app that actually worked and let me test it.

Thanks for the feedback, that’s fine. I bet that competitor app doesn’t have a real time wow/flutter graph or a worldwide database of more than 4000 turntables.
Great app to test old turntables
Bought a late-70’s Fisher direct drive turntable that was playing too fast.. did some research, cleaned a few parts, and used the app to get it back pretty close to 33 1/3.. thanks RPM App!
The trial time and limit to 10 usages is too short
I wanted to checkout this app but needed to ensure it was good enough to calibrate my new design DC power supply as I had been hearing about some accuracy issues. But it timed out too quickly to get a reliable speed check as the turntable had not stabilised. After trying a few times. The app bricked as it had been restarted 10 times. Most of these were trying to find a good way the fit my very slippery Xs. £10 is a lot of money to pay for an app on spec. I understand the need to make money from effort but there needs to be a trade off from those that will pay if it is of use and those that want to use something for free. I am not buying it and continue using a strobe

Thank you for your feedback, it is a tricky balance, I am pushing a new version soon which does give more time and uses in trial mode, plus reduce ads! Hopefully those that find the app useful will still upgrade.
