  • Easy, understandable, Simple.

All together, this is a nice, simple, straightforward app. The "help" addition is really nice, and I enjoyed the interactivity of it. The tutorials were real, and I think it is great to see an app of this caliber on the app store, especially because it's educational. One thing, it would be nice to have a little background on swift and if there is a studio application for it or not, but otherwise its great. I thank you developers! 🤓👍

  • Nice, but I wonder...

...if it's updated to the latest Swift version, Swift 4. It would be nice if the developer clarifies this. So far, the app teaches you the Swift sintaxis, and it does it well.

By the way: for those complaining about "being stuck" because the rating thing, you just can go away tapping "Later" and "Go back". Although the developer should make it more clear the way to get away if you already rated this.

  • Time is Money

This application company should know that time is money so to force me to write a review to proceed is a little abnormal, however, I value that my opinion might actually help develop there application.

Basically if the app could provide a overview video prior to starting the application just as they require users to write a review before advancing to the next section can be beneficial to new user. The overview could include common question, concerns, and show what type of skills you will develop and where you can apply these skills after you complete the program. Unless there is more required reviews then I will leave my honest review once I complete the application. Currently I am working at a 2-4 hour pace per week.

  • A Great Introduction To Swift Coding Abilities

So I'm fairly new to the coding world (utilizing the self-teach method) & this teaching app greatly aids you in this process. You end up with immersion process (where as you go through each module, you are given exercise information along with an attempt at a live exercise. If you begin to get the hang of it, it will continue to the next exercise and if you don't, it will provide you hints based on previous teachings). Enjoy this method as it works best for those of us who prefer visual, hands-on teaching methods versus straight textbook methods. Highly recommend for novice user looking to comfortable advance their knowledge-base in this process.

  • Decent start but needs polish and attention

The “Hello world” variable lesson doesn’t recognize the string you typed and these types of errors happen frequently. You just have to skip without hearing or seeing the satisfying correct check mark. Soon after, string concatenation shows summing two strings neither w spaces suddenly having a space between them after being added together. I worry that if you have never programmed you’re going to miss a lot of basic info because of these kinds of errors, and who knows what errors are yet to come with even more advanced topics covered in this app. My suggestion is to also update this app to Swift 4 ASAP.

  • Good

Besides the fact how you have to pay for the rest of the app, I really like the way you guys made this app. It's interactive, there are video tutorials if you get stuck, even on the side they have an error message if you do something wrong(even the slightest mistake will trigger it). So I think this is a great way to learn a new programming language, especially Swift since it has been added recently. So over all great job on the app, I'm a huge fan of this one. Cheers.

  • Great practice

This app helps me learn the intricacies of coding as a beginner and teaches me the importance of having each character in its proper place. I am able to experiment with different commands and learn from my mistakes. The tutorials posted for each lesson are clear and easy to understand. As a beginner I am looking for resources that teach me what terms like "float" mean. It would be great to have a reference page added to the app to define different Swift terms and their meaning.

  • Simple yet Challenging

I enjoy using the app because I wanted to get a head start in learning coding before I go to school to learn even more. It's simple enough for me to understand yet I also have to think about how to solve some of the challenges. It's more fun if you try not to use any hints or tutorials. Only use them if you're really stuck, try and remember what you've learned!

  • Early to tell but good so far

App is informative and easy to follow, yet requires a review of the product before finishing the second chapter. Hard to tell if it will be worth $4.99 this early, but seems like it is a good base point to get into coding. Also, a GREAT marketing ploy for the developers to require a review and attract more customers. I Will revise review once I have completed the 20 chapters and have a grasp of the apps true worth. So far so good..... until the app lets me proceed from writing this review. Only notch on the 5 stars....

Note: The app will not let me move forward even after making this review. It really is a well done app/learning tool, yet this is ridiculous. Soon will be a 1 star app if I can not proceed, especially after just paying the $4.99 for full access.

  • Neat App

The app is very helpful especially since each step includes an interactive tutorial which helps make it easy to understand. It teaches the programming language "Swifty" effectively. The only problem I had was that after around 20 "levels" they made you review their app so you can continue which is perfectly acceptable considering they want feedback but in doing so many fake reviews will be published. Overall, very informative app.
